ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, I began playing clarinet at age 10.  I fell in love with music from the moment I picked up my instrument.  In 7th grade, I attended my first band festival, and I realized that I wanted to teach music for the rest of my life.

I am the current Director of Bands at Hanover Public School District.  I teach 5-12 Band as well as many other ensembles including Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Chamber Ensembles.

I recently studied Music Education and Music Performance at Penn State.  I have many loves including marching band, musical theatre, jazz, and diverse music.

I have played clarinet and saxophone in numerous ensembles at Penn State including The Blue Band,  The Symphonic Band, The Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Outer Dimensions Jazz Ensemble, The Philharmonic Orchestra, The Clarinet Choir, smaller chamber ensembles, and local pit orchestras.
